Born into a 4th generation family of Luxembourg hairdressers and passionate about beauty from an early age, I've always loved the idea of making hair more beautiful. Whether that means making it softer, fuller, more manageable, shinier or stronger, that's up to you. Because everyone is unique, everyone has their own individuality and everyone has individual needs that we need to start celebrating. I wanted to bring you the advice of a professional, directly accessible online via a diagnosis which, in just a few clicks, gives you your own personal proposal of products adapted to your needs.
The products you are discovering are the ones I like to use. They're professional products that provide real solutions and are more economical because they're less diluted and a small dab is enough to have a considerable effect.
When choosing products for our hairshop.lu boutique, I was concerned not only about the ingredients but also about the ethics and values of the different brands. I chose cruelty-free, vegan brands with natural ingredients. I co-developed a Powder Shampoo with clay and probiotics, which forms a lather when in contact with water.
Because our company also has a duty to reduce its impact on the environment, we plant 1 tree for every order placed on our site in collaboration with Graine de Vie, a Luxembourg NGO. We try to reduce waste as much as possible. That's why we offer our customers eco-responsible shipping: recycled and recyclable cardboard boxes, packing particles that we reuse from incoming deliveries.
The local factor is also very important, and I wanted to compete with the big online shops with an attractive price, very fast and free delivery in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, and with gifts and samples adapted to your selection of products offered with each order. I see myself as David against Goliath in my fight against inequality, because these big players with their complicated and offshore structures give very little back to citizens, education and the social system.
Because I like to take action and I'm never afraid to try new things, hairshop.lu was born. I'm a great believer in beauty and in the power of each individual to awaken it, to reinvent ourselves in a more authentic version that's more in harmony with ourselves.
